Welcome to
Scuba Diving Travel Network!

Become a Scuba Diver and explore a whole new world of adventure and beauty. Escape your world of work and break free in a new world guaranteed to renew your spirit and make you feel like a kid again!

Scuba diving continues to grow in popularity and we're busy building a dynamic and fun network of new and experienced divers. Divers who want to learn more about the sport, hook up with each other on one of our diving trips, and generally share their experiences with other avid fans.

If you are new to scuba diving, then this is your opportunity to reconnect and experience nature like never before. There are several misconceptions and fears people have about diving so here are just a few facts about diving you should know so you can relax and enjoy the rest of our website:

  • Scuba diving is a safe and fun sport for young and old, male and female. Teaching and certification have come a long ways in the past 50 years and diving is now enjoyed by anyone who has the desire to learn. Once a male dominated sport, women now make up over 40% of divers. Women now have their own lines of equipment designed and developed for comfort and style. You will find women in every area of scuba diving such as instructing, running trips and owning resorts.

  • No matter where you live, chances are there are other active divers and dive shops to service you. Colorado has the highest ratio of divers per capita and there isn't an ocean within a thousand miles or more. Every area that has any bodies of water offers exciting diving opportunities. And, there are trips to get you to any of the famous diving spots around the world.

  • Scuba diving has become more affordable to a much larger audience. More and more people are realizing when they compare the costs of scuba diving to other sports it's really not that expensive when you consider how it broadens your entire life. You will only need to purchase a mask, snorkel and fins to begin your adventure. The rest of the equipment can be rented and you can purchase new or used equipment as you become more experienced. A full Certification class will run you from $300 to $500 depending on where you are located.

  • Diving is a fun and natural way to get into the best physical shape of your life. Just about anyone can take up this sport and enjoy it. You don't need to be a great swimmer or a competitive athlete at all. But, the more you dive the more conditioned you will become. You'll have the best reason in the world to get your conditioning program in gear at last. It all comes naturally as you discover the joys of diving and begin expanding your perception of who you are and what you are capable of doing.

  • If you have ever been snorkeling and you remember how much fun that was, then scuba diving will truly blow your mind. Snorkeling is fun for the entire family but it doesn't compare to the thrill of entering the world of underwater adventures. You will never forget how it feels to swim with an entire school of fish, check out coral reefs up close and personal, and explore your first sunken wreck. Your life will never be the same... it will be bigger, bolder and a heck of a lot more fun!
