Bonaire, Netherland Antilles: Unbelievable Beauty
My sister and I found Scuba Diving in Bonaire to be a beautiful underwater landscape. The corals are magnificent and lots of smaller fish. Big stuff tends to be found elsewhere. Our trip was pre-hurricane and haven't been back since to see what impact that had. Hope to change that in the next year or so. Scuba diving Bonaire, Netherland Antilles. (more...) 
Palau, Micronesia: Absolutely MUST Dive!
It was time to head for what we kept hearing is one of the quintessential spots for diving. What I can report is that there is good reason for it. We dived off the Palau Aggressor liveaboard and had a fabulous time. We saw some amazing sights - – somewhere between 100 and 200 Moorish Idols in a cut in a wall. The sun was slicing the water through the cut and the Idols would move in a box formation. Breathtaking – first a broadside and the striping is iridescent and then a 90 degree turn and they look like slices of stone. The next 90 degree again brings the shine and shimmer.
The Great Barrier Reef, Australia: Diving Down Under
It was time to live my dream. So I asked for a leave of absence from work and applied for a loan that took me five years to repay and headed to Australia to dive. Not once did I begrudge a payment – it was the trip of a lifetime, all 2 ½ months I spent Down Under.This particular trip was to the Outer Coral Sea on the SiBon, a liveaboard run by Fantasy Dive Charters out of Port Douglas.
